How much does troubleshooting cost?
Standard diagnostics cost 7 990 HUF; complex diagnostics for intermittent faults cost 14 990 HUF. The fee is fully credited towards a repair, and not charged with full maintenance or if we do not take on the job.
How long does a repair take?
Usually about 2-3 working days. If we are waiting for a part, we let you know in advance. Express service for a surcharge (+9 990 HUF) within 24 hours, if we can take it on.
Are parts included in the price?
No. Parts are always charged separately; we tell you the price before the repair. Prices are final amounts (AAM invoice).
Is there a guarantee on repairs?
Yes, we give a 6-month guarantee (jótállás) on the repair, installation and maintenance work we invoice, to private customers and businesses alike; it covers the work done and the parts we installed and invoiced, not the other parts of the device that we did not touch. Statutory warranty (szavatosság) applies to new parts we invoice for at least 2 years, and to used parts for 1 year. For what we do not invoice, for example a part you bring or a part the supplier invoices in your name, we give no guarantee or statutory warranty; the manufacturer's or supplier's warranty applies and we help with the paperwork; however, the 6-month guarantee does cover the work of installing a part you bring.
How much does a laptop screen replacement cost?
Labour is 14 990 HUF for a simple replacement (screwed bezel) and 19 990 HUF for a glued, touch or full lid assembly replacement. We tell you the exact amount in advance, at inspection.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, we only see customers by appointment; there are no fixed opening hours. We arrange the time by email or through the repair request form.
Can you collect my device?
Yes, for an individual fee that we tell you in advance. On-site call-out in Budapest costs 6 990 HUF + 400 HUF / km (km counted one way, from 1095 Budapest to the address); free for business clients at a pre-arranged time.
What is the Secure Boot certificate update, and do I need it?
Microsoft's Secure Boot certificates that protect Windows start-up expire in 2026. Your computer will still start, but without the update it gets no new security fixes for the start-up process. Most PCs receive it through Windows Update; some also need a BIOS update, which we check and carry out (9 990 HUF).
What do you not repair?
Monitors, tablets, phones, printers and household appliances, and no board-level (SMD) repair. For consoles we only do maintenance (cleaning, paste, liquid metal); physically damaged drives need a lab.
